Are there any legalities with an X-Force Varex type muffler in QLD?

I had the car on the dyno again today. The total power gain above stock tune is a whisker under 26Kw at the wheels, and the car drives like I think it was meant to. They told me it is getting about 5-6Kw more at the wheels more than a current model unmodified WRX STI would on the same dyno. I am happy with that, I was told they could push more out of it, but makes sense not to push the CVT too much.
Will look at an aftermarket CVT fluid cooler later this year.

Mind if you share where you got it tuned?

The work was done at the Horsepower Factory in South Dandenong. They are good.

Thinking about the XA, XB and muffler replacement from MRT. How has it held up since you did the upgrade?

Looking at getting the a hks cat back system for my UK spec 1.6gt...but concerned it will drone at certain speeds which I absolutely do not want...anyone with experience of the hks kit?...it's a premium price so I'm hoping it would be good kit

I know this thread is a bit old but just wondering where everyone is with their exhausts now that the Levorg has been around for a while. We've just bought a 2016. The mufflers are aftermarket. Can't find a brand but I'm pretty sure they're decent. Straight through and look to be 2.5". The rest of the exhaust is stock standard. No exhaust noise whatsoever. Just engine noise. Looking at either the MRT 3" of maybe even the Invidia cat back for now. Any info or videos on noise would be great.

I'm planning stage 2 on levorg 1.6t (up too 210-225 hp) with full exhaust mod. Anyone have experience with Jpipe in it and exhaust that can as close as possible get me 'that' subaru rumble? There are quite nice Tomei Titanum clips but its quite expensive and 1 side only.
Is there anything besides MRT, invidia and HKS?

Hi! The Subaru rumble is due to the uneven length exhaust manifolds. The Levorg uses a twin scroll turbo which necesitates the use of matched manifolds. I dont think there is any wat to get that authentic Subie burble without doing extensive engine modding, unfortuneately.

Thought i'd throw the K2 video in here for those who may be interested.

Drone is minimal although the tailgate area has been treated with stinger roadkill.

There is a certain RPM range where the cabin fills with noise in sports# mode, couldn't tell you exactly where as concentrating on the winding downhill was more important
